ShareWay IP is available in three different editions: the Personal, Standard and Professional Editions:
• ShareWay IP Personal Edition allows AppleShare 3.7 clients to access, via Internet protocols, personal file sharing running on the same Macintosh as the Gateway. The Personal Edition accepts up to 10 concurrent client connections.
• ShareWay IP Standard Edition allows AppleShare 3.7 clients to access, via Internet protocols, any single AFP 2.1 server, such as personal file sharing or AppleShare 3 or 4. The AFP server may run either on the same Macintosh as the Gateway on any other computer on the same AppleTalk network. The Standard Edition accepts up to 20 concurrent client connections.
• ShareWay IP Professional Edition allows AppleShare 3.7 clients to access, via Internet protocols, multiple AFP 2.1 servers. The AFP servers may be running on the same Macintosh as the Gateway and on other computers on the same AppleTalk network. The Professional Edition accepts up to 120 concurrent client connections, and includes a number of advanced server management features.

Known limitations with Shareway IP Professional
• If you are supporting a large number of concurrent connections through the Gateway, it is recommended that the Gateway be run on a dedicated machine.
• The Gateway periodically checks to determine whether a targeted server is available over the AppleTalk network, and displays the server's availability status. The displayed status may be inaccurate between periodic checks.
• If you stop or quit the Gateway with a number of users still connected, the Gateway may take a number of minutes to shut down.
